Behind The Lens

Hey there, my name is Daisy. I am a pet photographer currently based out of the Astoria, Oregon. My focus is getting out into the world with our beloved animals, whether that be exploring the beautiful nature at our doorstep, working in the field, or going further to find the places many others don't often explore. 

I have been documenting my adventures through photography for over 10 years. Saving the little moments and the milestones in pictures that I can go back to and recall clearly and fondly. Now I would like to offer that to others. I am genuinely passionate about capturing the love of exploration we share with our animals. My goal is to show your bond, doing what you guys love most, as well as showing the raw beauty of your creature.

So, let's get out and find ourselves some dirt, mud, water, moss, or soot and create long lasting memories!

Sir made his entrance into modeling work early in life. At the young age of only 10 weeks he showed early signs of his determination to work with me. I would find him sleeping at my porch gate with his face wedged between the bars, waiting for me to notice him, only for me to take him back to my cousins house across the way. After many attempts for acknowledgement of his eagerness to show his skill, my cousin gifted him to me. Since then he has happily moved with me from the Navajo Nation to Utah to Texas and Oregon, with no intention to stop exploring. He has worked tirelessly by my side and has been nothing short of a faithful companion.

His duties include: modeling, location scouting, hiking buddy, and closest confidant.

"Mama Goose" is my husbands sweet girl. She desperately wants to be a model, but can be camera shy. She has come a long way in her confidence in front of the lens.

She has been trying her paw at modeling for just a few years now and even though she is 10 she shows no interest in slowing down. As long as she is paid in treats. Her head is often in the clouds, but she is game for anything we ask of her. She will climb trees and swim out to get logs (even if she isn't the most graceful swimmer).

Her life moto is, "play hard and snore loud"
